A local packaging manufacturer now requires a hands on and pro-active Health & Safety Advisor to join their team.

This job would be ideal for someone who has only just joined the HSE Industry with a few years' experience and looking to grow and develop their career further.

Health & Safety Advisor - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Work with the company to maintain the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC and FSC accreditations
• Review and update all of the company's health & safety policies and procedures
• Undertake accident investigations
• Create and update all the companies risk assessments
• Ensure the work is carried our inline with PUWER Regs
• Ensure the correct PPE is worn
• Provide Health & Safety training and inductions

Health & Safety Advisor - job requirements:

The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Health and Safety Advisor. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• Ideally be a member of IOSH
• Have a hands on and pro-active approach to Health & Safety
• Ideally come from the packaging or FMCG industry
